RECIPE
Sandy’sBlackbean bars
Ready in 20 minutes
Serves makes 24
Ingredients
3 c Old fashioned oats
2 c black beans
/4 to 1/3 c. honey or Stevia
1/4 c. applesauce
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
Add it to the oat mixture.
Pour this into a greased 9 x 13 pan
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
Preparation
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Put all ingredients into the blender except old fashioned oats.
Blend
Add old fashioned oats or quick oats pulse to mix
Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan
Bake for 15-20 mins. At 350 degrees.
Tips
For crispy bars bake additional 3-5 mins.
Experiment and add almond extract, substitute raisins and dried cranberries for honey
