Banana & Walnut Boat

Bananas are best known for being potassium-rich, but it also gives a good boost of B6 and Vitamin C along with trace minerals.
Bananas are best known for being potassium-rich, but it also gives a good boost of B6 and Vitamin C along with trace minerals.

This 4 step recipe is quick and easy to prepare and a great way to also the nutrient

benefits of walnuts. As you read this you may think this is a bit strange, but try it before

you move onto another recipe. My kids love them.

1.

Peel bananas.

2.

Cut into 3 pieces. Take each piece and slice it lengthwise. Place on tray or plate

rounded side down (flat portion face up)

3.

Spread 1 -2 teaspoons of mayo to each flat side up banana section.

4.

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon (or as much as you like) walnut pieces over mayo and serve.

You can substitute natural peanut butter for Mayo.
